Dr. Elorza Marrah, PsyD

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. My openness to compassion and empathy was nurtured and flourished while living in Southeast Asia, where human suffering was prominent, but the formidable resilience of the people was soul-stirring.  I strive throughout my practice to always stay curious to understand human behavior, to maintain a level of cultural competence, to apply my expert knowledge, and collaborate with the individual to gain insight, break dysfunctional patterns, explore the opportunities for growth and develop the skills needed to maximize their fullest potential.   

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Mount St. Mary's University, Brentwood Campus. I received my Master's in Clinical Psychology from California Graduate Institute now The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles Campus, which is also where I obtained my Doctor of Psychology in Applied Clinical Psychology. In providing psychological services, I am experienced in science-based strategies to optimize your quality of life. I specialize working with at-risk youth (5-18yrs) with ADHD or complex/trauma-related issues, transitional adult youth (18-24yrs), adults and the geriatric population adjusting with life transitions, coping with serious mental disorders and/or co-occurring disorders, PTSD, and the forensic population. Lastly, I have experience conducting a full battery of psychological assessments on children, adults, and older adults.
