Araz Barilla, DNP, PMHNPBC

 Araz Barilla is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Araz received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from West Coast University in 2014. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Brandman University in 2021. The focus of her doctoral research was addressing the negative impact that stress has on physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Araz has worked in a variety of settings, including acute hospital care, outpatient, and crisis treatment. She has worked with both adults and children. Her specialties include treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and the spectrum of psychotic disorders. She has experience with psychotropic medication management for a wide array of mental health disorders.

In her spare time, Araz enjoys gardening, going hiking, and spending time outdoors.
